Our Curriculum
Our learning environment is designed to provide both structural stability and exciting new opportunities.
Throughout the week, students remain with their dedicated Ako teacher for core English, Mathematics, and Social Sciences, ensuring strong relationships and consistent academic mentorship.
Alongside this stable foundation, students are introduced to specialised subjects, giving them the chance to explore purpose-built learning spaces and opportunities. To create a well-rounded and engaging timetable that sparks curiosity, students rotate through rich learning experiences in:

Discovery
Discovery is a dedicated weekly learning experience designed to support the academic, personal, social, and cultural development of our students.
It recognises that young adolescents thrive when they have opportunities to explore interests, develop strengths, build relationships, and experience meaningful success.
Each term, students choose from a range of Discovery pathways designed and led by teachers. These experiences may include creative arts, technology, cultural learning, practical skills, service projects, leadership, sustainability, innovation, or other areas of interest.
Each Discovery pathway will include:
- A focus area – something students can explore, investigate, and develop skills in.
- Skill development – students learn specific knowledge, techniques, and transferable capabilities.
- A meaningful outcome – students create, perform, contribute, or share something tangible.
